International Inspirational Talk
On September 17 The PWN International Hub hosted the first International Inspirational Talk in the elegant setting of Le Sénat restaurant.
The special guest speakers, Chloé Clair, Chief Technical Officer at Vinci and Paolo Codazzi, HR VP at GE Grid Electrics, engaged in a lively discussion mediated by Mais Naijib, PWN International Hub member.
As highly experienced managers in international contexts, Chloé and Paolo shared insights on how to advance in international careers and manage international teams. Their open and friendly exchange was highlighted by anecdotes illustrating the challenges and benefits of an international career.
Chloé has worked all around the world in a male dominated industry and shared stories of how she learned to be assertive and take her place at the table. She spoke of being challenged as a woman in different cultures and how this international experience helped her to grow as a manager and a leader.
As HR manager with experience in different industries and different countries, Paolo gave advice to international managers and explained how companies can make a difference in the move towards gender equality, expressing the need to “walk the talk” and create diversity management programs.
The talk was truly inspirational and empowering. It was followed by a dinner cocktail, where participants engaged further with the speakers and fellow participants to share their enthusiasm and to network.
Thanks to the International Hub team for organizing a truly inspirational evening for all!

" Having myself experienced international career, the reflections and advice provided by the speakers resonated a lot with me. The two speakers were extremely engaging and providing complementary view of HR best practice and personal experience from around the world. The beautiful set-up in the Sénat and the cozy atmosphere made it easy to have an open conversation with the speakers and the rest of the participants. Big thank you for organizing this first in-person event after covid! "
